The new theraphosid Pseudhapalopus spinulopalpus n. sp. described in this paper from Colombia, is closely related to Pseudhapalopus aculeatus (Strand 1907) from Bolivia, but differs in size and spinulation of palps and legs. The epigynum is similar to that of Cyclosternum.
